Incredible experience

Our experience with Antonio was incredible. A very polite and knowledgeable guide who went over and above to accommodate us.

A previous touring company cancelled and Classic Sintra came to our rescue to make our trip truly memorable.

A very big thank you to the owners in making sure at a moment’s notice to accommodate us! We wish you all every success!
Antonio's Sintra and Beyond Tour well worthwhile!

Like many, perhaps, we arried in Sintra by train from Lisbon planning to self-guide. Very glad we found Antonio - the distances are quite large and the hills quite steep! Much more so than the guide books suggest. Antonio saved us that, gave us expert guidance and much useful information. We took in the highlights of Sintra, and came back via Cabo da Roca and a train from Cascais after a sunset walk long the fornt from Estoril.
Antonio‘s custom English tour was tops!

Despite being approached by his very pushy colleague who did not speak English (we were speaking Portuguese,) he turned us over to Antonio as my fellow travelers did not speak Portuguese. Antonio drove us for at least six hours to all the sites we requested: The National Palace of Sintra, the Palace and Park of Pena, and the Quinta da Regaleira. He waited for us at each stop and at our request took us to a typical Portuguese restaurant, A Mourisca, that was absolutely fabulous and reasonable. He waited for us then recommended that we go to Cabo da Roca to see the sunset, an absolutely fabulous experience. I shared early on that we were not big tour people and to limit his comments to just the high points. He did exactly that, narrating simply in clear English as we went. He offered to return us to either Cascais or Sintra to get the train back for the same price. We chose Sintra. We have since been to Cascais on our own and that too is a wonderful place to watch the sunset . Antonio charged each of us $40 and it was a very worthwhile trip at that price point. His van was comfortable and he was pleasant, courteous and a good driver. I would definitely use his services in the future again!!!
Sintra's Hidden Gem - Antonio!

Our family had a wonderful time using Antonio's guided services on our recent trip to Sintra. He worked with us to customized three days worth of activities that really showcased the beauty of Sintra. He was professional, energetic and passionate about his country. He was able to accommodate our times and desires while making suggestions and showing us what we were after. Antionio was wonderful with our group, that consisted of teenagers and seniors. He gave wonderful recommendations at all of our points of interests. His guidance and companionship was so superb, our family was sad to part ways when we continued our travels elsewhere. We look forward to a return to Sintra and to use Antonio's services again!
Great, customizable tour with knowledgeable guide!

Francisco was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable about Sintra and the surrounding areas. When they say personalized, they mean it. After waiting in long lines for Pena and exploring Quinta de Reg., Francisco could tell it was time for a rest in the classic jeep while visiting Cabo de Rocha and other places. He even dropped us in Cachcais with a great restaurant recommendation. Would highly recommend and make it your own great experience!
