Our fantastic guide João led us on a fun and interesting tour of beautiful Porto. We had a great morning seeing the sites and taking in some of the amazing views. João is from Porto and showed us some of his own favorite places. He walked us through the stories told on the tiles in the city train station as well as many local stories and fun facts. Great time! The tour was easy to arrange with a down payment through PayPal to reserve the tour and then paying the balance in cash when we met.

We were fortunate enough to spend the day with Sara Dias exploring the most beautiful city we've ever seen! We didn't go to the typical tourist-traps, rather, Sara showed us the 'real' Porto as seen through the eyes of a lifetime resident. Fascinating.

Excellent tours in Porto

We took two trips with Sara in Porto, based on a recommendation. One was walking in the city and the other was the food and wine tour. Both were excellent and took us to places we never would have found on our own, and Sara was great company as well as being a mine of information. These tours were in a heat wave and Sara readily made some adaptations to stop us getting overdone! Strongly recommended.

Sara gave our group a fantastic tour of Porto. She was born and raised in the city and her love for Porto shines through. It was great to be with a guide who is so knowledgeable and had many stories to share. For instance, at the historic train station Sara explained the stories depicted in the beautiful tile “murals.” She was also a big help with other recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try.
