Authentic, unique and wonderful experience

Such a wonderful experience! Nuno was our guide and was so knowledgeable about the area and knew how to show us a good time. Went with 2 other couples, and we did the off roading experience (so unique!), the private wine tastings, lunch and private boat ride. Every single element of the tour felt local, authentic, and off the beaten path. The views during the drive are incredible, and it was wonderful that no one from our party had to worry about driving after wine tastings! :) Highly recommend this tour for wine lovers and wine novices alike!

4x4 in the Douro

Nuno meet us at the Quinta we were staying at and took us on a wonderful trip for the day. We visited many vineyard via 4x4. He also drove us to a small Quinta with wine and Olive oil production. He also brought us to a co op that produces Favaios and Moscatel. We where brought to a good restaurant in Tua, that had beautiful views of the Douro. His information of history and culture was full of pride. This was one of the highlights of our stay in the Douro. We would recommend Grapeland.

A Spectacular Experience!

Yesterday we had the immense pleasure of taking a private Duoro Valley tour through Grapeland Adventures. Nuno was our guide and he did a spectacular job of treating us to a unique, fun, educational, and exciting, private tour. Nuno was not only personable, friendly, and easy to talk with, but he was also very knowledgeable about the Duoro Valley history and the wine making process. Because we were in a 4 wheel drive jeep, he was able to take us off the beaten path, and on roads no other tour in Pinhao could offer. We had 2 wine tasings, an olive oil tasting, and a fabulous local lunch with a broad exposure to more delicious local food than our group of 4 could finish. The views were spectacular, and we finished off the tour with a private boat ride down the Duoro. Taking a tour with Nuno was at the top of our list of favorite activities on this vacation, and I will definitely be recommending Grapeland Adventures to our friends. Muito obrigado Nuno!

The guide is the best part of this experience! Nuno is a local and has super much knowledge. Learned a lot about wine, the vineyards and the region. And the 4x4 off road expierence is beyond amazing. The views are stunning and you reach viewpoints that you can't reach yourself with a car. Plus you have 2 wine tastings, lunch in local restaurant with local wine as well, and a boat tour. So much value for your money! Do this tour!:)
