This is our tour specially dedicated to wine and all aspects of its making. Recommended mainly to only true wine lovers.
You will sample a vast array of completely different wines from producers with very different backgrounds, experiences and approaches to wine making. Simple, elegant and fruit forward. Reviews
We absolutely loved the first winery, Quinta da Fonte do Milho, and enjoyed speaking with the winemaker. The wines, olive oil, etc. were great and the setting in which you do the tasting was fantastic!
The second place, Quinta do Cume, also had a beautiful setting and selection of wines.
The final place, Quinta da Pacheca, was amazing. We had lunch at The Wine House Restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had on our entire trip! They do a lovely wine pairing with the meal as well. After, we had a tasting outside and it was very enjoyable. The wines we tried were good but the ports were great.
We couldn't have asked for a better day and better wineries to visit. Highly recommend doing a tour with Oporto & Douro Moments, you won't regret it!
