What To Expect

My family and I spent the day with Joel touring Lisbon, Sintra, Palace Pena and Hell's Mouth (outside of Cascais). Put simply, it was the highlight of our cruise. Joel was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was also willing to be flexible with his agenda so we could visit our desired locations (such as a last minute visit to Hell's Mouth). I would highly recommend this excursion.

From the moment Joel met us, our tour of Sintra and Lisbon was super! He was very knowledgeable, informative and showed us a side of Sintra that was unique from the typical tour. From there, we travelled on to Cascais, Quincho Beach, Old town and much more. Joel was very personal and attentive to what we were interested in.

Very enjoyable tour. Joel was very personable, very knowledgeable and allowed deviation from planned tour. We ate lunch at a restaurant that served barnacles and tiger prawns the size of a small house. Never thought I would eat and like barnacles.

One thing to factor in...if coming in on a cruise ship, be aware that Lisbon time is one hour ahead of the ships time for purposes of scheduling.
