Reviews
From the driver who picked us up, he told us that the morning was more full than the afternoon - the bus we got on was full upstairs and down for a few stops bar one seat which we shared. We then enjoyed the trip into Belém and to the centre square where the bus stays for a while.
Possibly the highlight is the historical tram through the tight streets; it's pretty cool and how it fits in those streets, going up and down the hills is impressive. It can be crowded, check your times and be early to get a good seat.
The river cruise is about 30 minutes too long. Some took this opportunity to sleep (!!). It's good to see the city from the river and also to hear the noise from the traffic crossing the bridge.
At €45 per person, it's worth it. We also took one of the funiculars up the hill - it's hardly worth the wait if you're fit because you can walk up by the funicular in about half the time it takes to queue, load in and travel up.
