My wife and I had a private sommelier tour with João in May 2022 and it was absolutely amazing. João picked us up in Porto and drove us out to the Douro valley. On the way, we learned a lot about the valley, the different grape varieties, the wines they make and, naturally, about Port wine.
We tried some beautiful wines and some outstanding ports. We were introduced to locals and learned about the history and culture of the region. The trip included a lovely boat ride and a outstanding lunch (with wine, of course!)
I would go back in a heart beat! 10/10!
