Reviews
After considering the many ways to see and experience the Douro Valley, we decided that a small group tour (7-8 people max) was the way to go. Our time with Hugo was well spent and well worth the price. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the area's history, wine making, and made several stops for photos. We were able to visit small wineries not accessible if we went by boat or train and so nice to have a more intimate, personalized tour. The short boat ride was a welcome respite from the heat and the lunch at a picture perfect vineyard was delicious. We have already recommended him to friends visiting this fall!
