However, the host, Alvaro, offered us much more than this! We got to see everything by jeep, even the parts of the city that were very hard to reach.
Furthermore, we got to taste a delicious port at Porto Cruz.
For the rest of the week, Alvaro was there for us to give us tips and to travel us everywhere we wanted with his jeep. Very nice experience over all!!
Highly recommend this tour… Do it early on in your visit so that you can get a sense of the layout of the city and enjoy his many recommendations.
The price for a 2 hour trip is better than the Tuk-tuk rides which are half the time and with his old-style military jeep, it’s a quaint and fun way to visit Porto.
Historic and local knowledge. We covered a lit of substance the walking tour wouldn't!!!
