Tiles of Porto tour

My gf and I went on the tiles of Porto tour with Nuno today and it was great! Porto has stunning tiles which are lovely to see but understanding the history was so interesting! Nuno seems to know absolutely everything about tiles! He was the coolest guide and we got to see a lot of Porto on our walk. Recommended. Thanks Nuno!
I notice & think about tiles differently now!

Nuno is terrific sharing what he knows about the history of the walled tiles along the churches, train station, houses . Tells you the about techniques used to make the tiles and who made them. Also gives info on some of the local murals. Ask Nuno anything . He will create the tour with what you’re interested in! At 1st I wasn’t sure what we were going to learn at the start of the tour but it just got better & better! It was nice that it was just the 4 of us in our group. The next 3 days in Porto we had a new interest s we’d pass other locations with tiles on the facade and realized the importance of what we learned about the tile history!
