The Ria Park Garden Hotel is housed in a four-storey white building, set 900 metres from the golden sands of the Algarve's Vale do Garrão Beach, five kilometres south of Almancil and four kilometres west of Quinta do Lago. The 109 guestrooms all have balconies and feature ceramic-tiled floors, co- ordinated, patterned fabrics and contemporary furnishings. All are equipped with climate control, satellite television, dial-up Internet connections (for a fee) and minibars. The marble bathrooms include hair dryers, bidets and complimentary toiletries.
The hotel boasts a pink, marble-floored lobby with cushioned rattan seating and an adjacent solarium featuring a fabric-draped ceiling and a display of Portuguese ceramics. A family pool and a children's pool provide warm-weather outdoor swimming in a floral garden setting, complete with palm and pine trees, potted orange trees and a rock waterfall. The pool complex includes a sundeck and lawn furnished with cushioned lounge chairs. Guests can enjoy the facilities of the Health Club, which includes fitness equipment, a jetted tub, a hydrotherapy pool and a Turkish bath. The hotel also houses floodlit tennis courts, a pool table and table tennis, and offers organised activities during the day. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby for a surcharge. The Garrão Restaurant offers traditional Portuguese and international dishes, including fresh fish, and light meals are available at the poolside bar during the summer. The town of Almancil, with good shopping and restaurants, is five kilometres from the hotel, while the historic town of Loulé is 10 kilometres away. Six golf courses lie within four kilometres of the hotel. The hotel spa features an indoor heated pool, a range of massage treatments, classical and Asian, reflexology and aromatherapy. In addition, there is a fully equipped gym.
